TURQUALITY® is the world's first and only state-supported branding program, conducted by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, with the aim of strengthening the positions of Türkiye's competitive brands in world markets and ensuring that they become global brands. It comprehensively supports all the processes required for a brand to become a "global player", from strategy to implementation.

Main Objectives:

  • Globalizing Turkish Brands: Increasing the recognition and reputation of Turkish brands in the international arena.

  • Creating Brand Value: Encouraging the creation of high value-added, unique and competitive brands.

  • Increasing Institutional Competence: To develop the competence of supported companies in areas such as institutionalization, strategic planning, human resources, R&D and financial management.

  • Increasing Exports: Increasing Türkiye's exports and increasing the unit value of exports through strong brands.

Support Scope and Process:

The TURQUALITY® program puts companies through a two-stage evaluation process:

  1. Brand Support: Companies that meet certain criteria are included in the "Brand Support" program as the first step of their international branding journey. During this process, the institutionalization and branding infrastructures of the companies are strengthened.

  2. TURQUALITY® Program: Companies in the Brand Support program or high-potential brands that can apply directly to the program are accepted into the TURQUALITY® Program after a comprehensive audit (performance, capacity, strategy, etc.).

Companies accepted into the program are offered a wide range of support that is critical to their branding journey. This support typically covers the following areas:

  • Promotion and Marketing Expenses: International advertising, promotion, public relations, fair participation and marketing activities.

  • Consulting Expenses: Professional consulting services received on topics such as brand management, corporate development, strategic planning, human resources and finance.

  • Design and R&D Expenses: Product and packaging design, R&D projects.

  • Store Rent and Concept Development: Expenses for opening and operating stores abroad.

  • Patent, Utility Model and Industrial Design Registration Expenses: International registration expenses.

  • Merger and Acquisition Consultancy: Merger/acquisition processes within the scope of international growth strategies.

TURQUALITY® is a holistic program that offers management consultancy and strategic roadmap to companies, beyond being just a financial support program. The duration of the program is usually 5 years, but can be extended depending on performance. In this way, Turkish brands aim to take their place in global markets with a strong identity and competitive advantage.
